April 30th
The Next morning we got up bright and early to try to contact the landlord and my future
boss
The apt is fabulous; I know I was a bit leery because I couldn’t picture it from the description Chris was giving me over the phone. It’s a one bed room with a closet in the bedroom and a walk in closet off the hallway of the bedroom. It has one bath with a closet out side of that door, as well as a perfect for me sized kitchen with a pantry attached to it. Off the kitchen are a dinning room and a living room.
bossso we stopped at a drug store to see if I could find a Zertec for my allergies hopping to get me slightly stable to go to his friend’s home to use the internet. The allergy drug helped to a point but didn’t totally take care of it. But we got to make our phone calls and send out emails and all that good stuff then we headed to the West Edmonton Mall. We looked at all sorts of things.
None of the stores are familiar; all have French names or totally different companies here. Its cute, I asked him where the goodwill and thrift stores were, he laughed and said I don’t have to shop
there anymore. That I can afford clothes from the mall and other places now.

After that adventure we went back about 6pm when we could move into our new place. His friend Alex came and helped us move in. It only took 2 hours for the three of us to move about 50 totes worth of my things from floor 1 to floor 8… yes yes there was an elevator ^_^
