So today I got to see my first Hockey Game WHL, they are the Oil Kings. We headed to the train then off to the Coliseum. It was pretty packed but we were able to buy tickets to the game, and not to shabby seats either. The game its self wasn’t all that exciting it seemed that our team didn’t really want the win. The Referees skated more intense then the players did. And to top it off their half time show was a guy named Jesse McCarthy. No one had a clue who he was and every one left the stadium when he came on it was quite funny.

But I was very happy and excited to be able to see my first WHL game. I hope I will be able to see the Oilers play they are the official team of Edmonton.

How times have changed and how things that once were OK are not and no longer carry the same feeling or intent.  When you think of the word “woman” and do you automatically think bitch or hussy, baggage or bit? According to various traditional dictionaries, synonyms for “woman”, which came as a bit of a shock, and possibly more insightful on why certain generations use words such as these to describe a woman. Rock, Paper, Control

The feeling of no control. No control over my mental health, my weight, or my physical health. I like to have things planned and organized because that give me some control in my life. I feel though, like those little things are just pieces of paper with a rock on them on a windy day, soon they to will be out of my control. I once had control over my health and weight, but that was nearly 14 yrs ago. Each year I advance in age I loose more and more control over those two things. No Dr. or specialist seem to know why. Back when I had control, my weight would fluctuate but nothing substantial. I was a ball of anxiety and stress back then as well, so nothing there changed. I was more active in those days, doing all the things all the time. Not sure if that was to hide from my brain weasels or having to go home and be around my mother. Basically she loves watching the neighbor kids play outside. she enjoys her snuggle time on the love seat and of course we gave her yet another bath this time with her very own dog towels.
