Bristol Rennisance Fair

Today was a busy day! First we went to the Bristol renfair. I have not been to this fair since 2003 I think, and he has never been to this fair. I printed off coupons off the internet for 15.00 tickets which were normally 19.99 but when we got in line a gentalman also in garb came up to us and handed us free tickets for the day ^_^
while we wondered around in and out of shops we ran into a few of our SCA friends and chatted a bit. I bought some hand made bug spray that works really great! then we found a hat shop... and if you know me, I look horrid in hats, but we found a hat I looked and felt pretty in! well after lots of contimplating an expensive suade hat. Then he said... want your x-mas present now? 
So we dashed back to the shop to find another lady with my hat on.. you see because of my fourhead that was the only hat that fit me. so the shop keep showed me and had me try on two others, but it didnt fit me... so I aproached her and asked if she would try on the other two because the one she had was the only one that fit. well the shop keep did the ol' switch a roo on her and she  thought she was going home with the one I wanted but he hid that one under the counter and sold her another one and I got the one that fits my head.. ^_^ he was awesome!

How times have changed and how things that once were OK are not and no longer carry the same feeling or intent.  When you think of the word “woman” and do you automatically think bitch or hussy, baggage or bit? Rock, Paper, Control

The feeling of no control. No control over my mental health, my weight, or my physical health. I like to have things planned and organized because that give me some control in my life. I feel though, like those little things are just pieces of paper with a rock on them on a windy day, soon they to will be out of my control. I once had control over my health and weight, but that was nearly 14 yrs ago. Each year I advance in age I loose more and more control over those two things. No Dr. or specialist seem to know why. Back when I had control, my weight would fluctuate but nothing substantial. I was a ball of anxiety and stress back then as well, so nothing there changed. I was more active in those days, doing all the things all the time. Not sure if that was to hide from my brain weasels or having to go home and be around my mother. Basically she loves watching the neighbor kids play outside. she enjoys her snuggle time on the love seat and of course we gave her yet another bath this time with her very own dog towels.
