Guest Bedroom DONE!
So I started this room 8-7-10. Let me take you back to how I found this room to how it looks today. Just a heads up there will be many photos ^_^ 8-7-10 This is the Room after Many. Many days of him cleaning up the paper that was scattered about 2 inches deep on the floor. Once he did this, I took over.
10-16-10 The room was gutted out, the fixtures removed the vents removed. The walls were cleaned and it is ready for painting.
10-18-10 We bought a wonderful piece of artwork for this room and choose a color from the painting. it is a teal color and most people hate it, but we like it.
10-19-10 and 10-24-10 Between these dates I bought the furniture for this room. headboard, bed frame, two side tables, two lamps, several frames and a few other things.
11-23-10 The furniture is in, the carpets have been washed and I made table runners for the two side tables.
4-23-12 For a whole Year this room sat waiting because why spend time finishing it with out a actual bed. But we were able to get a full sized mattress set at a great cost. then the finishing started. Once the bed was in the room I placed the bed-skirt and bedding on it. I then made a body pillow case for the body pillow we had that matches the bed-skirt, I also hung up the curtains that were waiting the arrival of the bed.
5-7-12 I had picked up some white plates back in 2010 to paint each sister onto it. You see this rooms theme is Gorgon Sisters. I finally finished them, I took their images from historical mosaics I found online.
5-10-12 During the remodeling of this room one of the closet door knobs were busted so I went out and bought some fancy ones.
5-11-12 We now reach today's date, the date I can say WE ARE DONE. All pieces are done and put together. Everything installed.

How times have changed and how things that once were OK are not and no longer carry the same feeling or intent.  When you think of the word “woman” and do you automatically think bitch or hussy, baggage or bit? Rock, Paper, Control

The feeling of no control. No control over my mental health, my weight, or my physical health. I like to have things planned and organized because that give me some control in my life. I feel though, like those little things are just pieces of paper with a rock on them on a windy day, soon they to will be out of my control. I once had control over my health and weight, but that was nearly 14 yrs ago. Each year I advance in age I loose more and more control over those two things. No Dr. or specialist seem to know why. Back when I had control, my weight would fluctuate but nothing substantial. I was a ball of anxiety and stress back then as well, so nothing there changed. I was more active in those days, doing all the things all the time. Not sure if that was to hide from my brain weasels or having to go home and be around my mother. Lets Call this Doggie Photo Dump there are really no stories to go with many of these photos. Basically she loves watching the neighbor kids play outside. she enjoys her snuggle time on the love seat and of course we gave her yet another bath this time with her very own dog towels.
