Daisho Con
This was the first year this Con was going on and our SCA group was involved. We had a booth with lots of different items that we made and present them at the booth. A group of us all donned our garb and went to Daisho Con.

This event started Friday but I only went today and ill go back tomorrow. Today We had lots going on, a few of us sat on the floor and worked with links to make chainmail items while others did weavings on looms and sewing. Then there was the three of us girls; Amanda, Kathleen, and I sat on the floor and learned how to do finger weaving. It was quite easy and very very addicting to do. This little project got us a photo in the Stevens Point Journal ^_^. After dinner time the SCA had a rapier demo so we all went to watch that. After the night was done we packed and headed home.

How times have changed and how things that once were OK are not and no longer carry the same feeling or intent.  When you think of the word “woman” and do you automatically think bitch or hussy, baggage or bit? Rock, Paper, Control

The feeling of no control. No control over my mental health, my weight, or my physical health. I like to have things planned and organized because that give me some control in my life. I feel though, like those little things are just pieces of paper with a rock on them on a windy day, soon they to will be out of my control. I once had control over my health and weight, but that was nearly 14 yrs ago. Each year I advance in age I loose more and more control over those two things. No Dr. or specialist seem to know why. Back when I had control, my weight would fluctuate but nothing substantial. I was a ball of anxiety and stress back then as well, so nothing there changed. I was more active in those days, doing all the things all the time. Not sure if that was to hide from my brain weasels or having to go home and be around my mother. Lets Call this Doggie Photo Dump there are really no stories to go with many of these photos. Basically she loves watching the neighbor kids play outside. she enjoys her snuggle time on the love seat and of course we gave her yet another bath this time with her very own dog towels.
