A trip to Paulette’s house was in store for me today. After 4pm Tabitha came and picked me up and we headed to Paulette’s home. You see Dec 13th is a Renfair called Boars Head and I’m trying to get a new outfit that fits me to wear to this shindig. Paulette was willing to help me get started, the good news is my fabric I had in the basement for 5 or so years finally had purpose ^_^. All of us had a good time catching up and getting things done. Sadly we were only able to get things measured and cut out of the fabric that night but there are a few more days for me to work on this.

How times have changed and how things that once were OK are not and no longer carry the same feeling or intent.  When you think of the word “woman” and do you automatically think bitch or hussy, baggage or bit? According to various traditional dictionaries, synonyms for “woman”, which came as a bit of a shock, and possibly more insightful on why certain generations use words such as these to describe a woman. Today at my place of work a gentleman came up to my counter and said "Hello Beautiful" to me. Rock, Paper, Control

The feeling of no control. No control over my mental health, my weight, or my physical health. I like to have things planned and organized because that give me some control in my life. I feel though, like those little things are just pieces of paper with a rock on them on a windy day, soon they to will be out of my control. I once had control over my health and weight, but that was nearly 14 yrs ago. Each year I advance in age I loose more and more control over those two things. No Dr. or specialist seem to know why. Back when I had control, my weight would fluctuate but nothing substantial. I was a ball of anxiety and stress back then as well, so nothing there changed. I was more active in those days, doing all the things all the time. Not sure if that was to hide from my brain weasels or having to go home and be around my mother.
