GW: Archery, Champions, Scarfing and Everymans

Archery: War Points
This year it was 6 arrows at the window shoot and 6 arrows at the Clout shoot. Out of 14 People that showed up we achieved 44 points. One point for each arrow that went into the window. One point each arrow that landed in the outer ring of the clout and 2 points per arrow for ones that landed in the inner ring of the clout shoot. I myself only got 2 points but that is not so bad for still being a big injured and not shooting for 7 months.




















Cy Gets Scarfed

Our friend Cy received his White Scarf, today he became a Don... Don Cy






 Champions Tourney

Again the Kingdom chooses one rapier and one heavy to fight in this tourney. the difference is you get one bout and one chance. if you loose you are out of the tourney. unlike the Diamond where you get something like best of 3 or something. Tomas and Vlad were chosen for this one.









Everyman Tourney

After the Champions Tourney we headed to the other field where a few of our friends were already underway for their tourney. I believe this to be a tourney for those with out a GOA level Rapier award.

How times have changed and how things that once were OK are not and no longer carry the same feeling or intent.  When you think of the word “woman” and do you automatically think bitch or hussy, baggage or bit? Rock, Paper, Control

The feeling of no control. No control over my mental health, my weight, or my physical health. I like to have things planned and organized because that give me some control in my life. I feel though, like those little things are just pieces of paper with a rock on them on a windy day, soon they to will be out of my control. I once had control over my health and weight, but that was nearly 14 yrs ago. Each year I advance in age I loose more and more control over those two things. No Dr. or specialist seem to know why. Back when I had control, my weight would fluctuate but nothing substantial. I was a ball of anxiety and stress back then as well, so nothing there changed. I was more active in those days, doing all the things all the time. Not sure if that was to hide from my brain weasels or having to go home and be around my mother.
