April 18th


Awoke from a 5 hour nap, did my chores (yes did chores on trivia weekend) and showered. Wore my Howl High shirt for good luck and popped back onto Skype and MSN for more trivia fun. We stayed in the top 5 most of the contest. A great thing about the MSNing this year is it was 5 of us who were playing remotely and then the official MSN person at HQ along with like 2 or 3 people from HQ that joined us. It was a good time and I’m happy they did it this way. It made my first trivia away from home a bit more tolerable... Again I managed to stay up 20 hours then I headed for a nap

How times have changed and how things that once were OK are not and no longer carry the same feeling or intent.  When you think of the word “woman” and do you automatically think bitch or hussy, baggage or bit? According to various traditional dictionaries, synonyms for “woman”, which came as a bit of a shock, and possibly more insightful on why certain generations use words such as these to describe a woman. Today at my place of work a gentleman came up to my counter and said "Hello Beautiful" to me. Now, this customer does come in several times a week and is not a total stranger when I'm at work but still. Rock, Paper, Control

The feeling of no control. No control over my mental health, my weight, or my physical health. I like to have things planned and organized because that give me some control in my life. I feel though, like those little things are just pieces of paper with a rock on them on a windy day, soon they to will be out of my control. I once had control over my health and weight, but that was nearly 14 yrs ago. Each year I advance in age I loose more and more control over those two things. No Dr. or specialist seem to know why. Back when I had control, my weight would fluctuate but nothing substantial. I was a ball of anxiety and stress back then as well, so nothing there changed. I was more active in those days, doing all the things all the time. Not sure if that was to hide from my brain weasels or having to go home and be around my mother.
