May 16th

Got an email from mom today, letting me know my security deposit is in from our last apt. sadly he wrote it out to Chris and Gwyn. Funny how the bank won’t cash it cause Chris’s name is on it. So I spent about an hour on the phone with my old landlord trying to get him to understand I’m not in the country and I need that money. We will see how that all turns out in a few days.

Still no word from my boss. Funny how I “have” the job yet I cant got to work until he files out all the forms he was supposed to have done and sent in before I arrived here... Herumph!

So amazingly it does get hot here in Canada! We hit 90 degrees F. since we are on the 8th floor it is already hot now it’s just unbearably hot so I ventured out for a walk in the sun to buy a fan. 5 to 6 blocks to the store then back with a box that is ½ my size.

How times have changed and how things that once were OK are not and no longer carry the same feeling or intent.  When you think of the word “woman” and do you automatically think bitch or hussy, baggage or bit? Rock, Paper, Control

The feeling of no control. No control over my mental health, my weight, or my physical health. I like to have things planned and organized because that give me some control in my life. I feel though, like those little things are just pieces of paper with a rock on them on a windy day, soon they to will be out of my control. I once had control over my health and weight, but that was nearly 14 yrs ago. Each year I advance in age I loose more and more control over those two things. No Dr. or specialist seem to know why. Back when I had control, my weight would fluctuate but nothing substantial. I was a ball of anxiety and stress back then as well, so nothing there changed. I was more active in those days, doing all the things all the time. Not sure if that was to hide from my brain weasels or having to go home and be around my mother.
