Monday May 5th

Monday comes first day back at work for Chris. 7am alarm followed by me locking the door behind him so I could have the house keys while he was at work. You see we only have one set for now. I spent most of Monday cleaning and putting things away, and then finally I ventured out into my new neighborhood. I walked down 114th street which is the main street I live on. Walked north for about 4 blocks to what is known as Oliver Square. This place has almost anything I need, it has lots food places to choose from and a grocery store as well as a London drugs which is like a Walgreens. I like that store allot we ended up getting emergency cell phones there. You see Chris doesn’t like that face that I’m out and about the city with no way of getting help. It being I’m lost or medical problems, hes always thinking.

How times have changed and how things that once were OK are not and no longer carry the same feeling or intent.  When you think of the word “woman” and do you automatically think bitch or hussy, baggage or bit? Rock, Paper, Control

The feeling of no control. No control over my mental health, my weight, or my physical health. I like to have things planned and organized because that give me some control in my life. I feel though, like those little things are just pieces of paper with a rock on them on a windy day, soon they to will be out of my control. I once had control over my health and weight, but that was nearly 14 yrs ago. Each year I advance in age I loose more and more control over those two things. No Dr. or specialist seem to know why. Back when I had control, my weight would fluctuate but nothing substantial. I was a ball of anxiety and stress back then as well, so nothing there changed. I was more active in those days, doing all the things all the time. Not sure if that was to hide from my brain weasels or having to go home and be around my mother. Basically she loves watching the neighbor kids play outside. she enjoys her snuggle time on the love seat and of course we gave her yet another bath this time with her very own dog towels.
