If you remember me talking about how much I “LOVE” my hardwood floors (feel that sarcasm?) Well, I sweep daily, and once a week I wash/wet swifter the floors. And just in one day of me walking around just look at my feet! This never happened with carpets… well except for socks at mom and dads, but she vacuums all the time and washes the carpets seasonally so I don’t know why the socks get like that their but that is besides the point. I cant wait till we have some extra cash to buy an area rug for the living room and side bed carpets and maybe one for the bathroom and my art room… Oh heck lets just put down carpets over the hardwood floors. What this is weird to you? I remember my grandma putting carpet down in the bathroom for the winter months only and then taking it out for the summer… Ok your right that isn’t the same but still…

How times have changed and how things that once were OK are not and no longer carry the same feeling or intent.  When you think of the word “woman” and do you automatically think bitch or hussy, baggage or bit? According to various traditional dictionaries, synonyms for “woman”, which came as a bit of a shock, and possibly more insightful on why certain generations use words such as these to describe a woman. Today at my place of work a gentleman came up to my counter and said "Hello Beautiful" to me. Rock, Paper, Control

The feeling of no control. No control over my mental health, my weight, or my physical health. I like to have things planned and organized because that give me some control in my life. I feel though, like those little things are just pieces of paper with a rock on them on a windy day, soon they to will be out of my control. I once had control over my health and weight, but that was nearly 14 yrs ago. Each year I advance in age I loose more and more control over those two things. No Dr. or specialist seem to know why. Back when I had control, my weight would fluctuate but nothing substantial. I was a ball of anxiety and stress back then as well, so nothing there changed. I was more active in those days, doing all the things all the time. Not sure if that was to hide from my brain weasels or having to go home and be around my mother.
