June 22nd

Today was one of the first days Chris and I actually had plans. I had called Nik and Rachel and asked if they wanted to go to the movies, mainly Ironman. So we set a time of 3:30 to meet at the Clairview Cinema. Now this is the first time Chris met them and its only the second time I hung out with them outside of my online games.

But of course today had to be the wettest it’s been here in days. It was pouring! But Chris and I walked our 10 blocks to the train station and took it to meet them. We met up got out food and headed in. Now one of our other friends we call Figgies has been telling us to go see this movie for weeks. Kept telling us we “had to make time” to see this movie. And the last time we went to the theater we chose to see the hulk instead and that upset him ^_^

The movie was very good, don’t get me wrong but I think between Ironman and the Hulk, I’d buy both movies to own but would only pay theater price to see The Hulk again.


After the movie we were invited back to their place for some burgers on the grill. While there we talked gaming, and WOW (world of warcraft) and DND (dungeons and dragons) and totally geeked it out, Rachel and I kept trying to make me a character for their campaign they run every Saturday but we never got very far. I’m thinking I’ll have to invest in the book myself and read it over.

How times have changed and how things that once were OK are not and no longer carry the same feeling or intent.  When you think of the word “woman” and do you automatically think bitch or hussy, baggage or bit? Rock, Paper, Control

The feeling of no control. No control over my mental health, my weight, or my physical health. I like to have things planned and organized because that give me some control in my life. I feel though, like those little things are just pieces of paper with a rock on them on a windy day, soon they to will be out of my control. I once had control over my health and weight, but that was nearly 14 yrs ago. Each year I advance in age I loose more and more control over those two things. No Dr. or specialist seem to know why. Back when I had control, my weight would fluctuate but nothing substantial. I was a ball of anxiety and stress back then as well, so nothing there changed. I was more active in those days, doing all the things all the time. Not sure if that was to hide from my brain weasels or having to go home and be around my mother.
