HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

After Chris got home at 4pm from work, we thought about things to do that we could afford for my birthday. So we had an adventure ahead of us, now most of you might not think what I’m about to be uber excited about is cool at all but it’s the little things for me ^_^

Today I learned how to use the train!!! Chris started out by showing me that the train station is underground on the intersection of Jasper Ave. and 108th Street, that is about 6 blocks of walking from our apt. From there I learned how to get tickets and what train goes which direction and about the stops it makes and which ones I take which way and the names of the stations. The one we live on is called Corona, how ironic no? The main destination I will be going to is call Clairview. That city has more shopping, no mall but more shopping, it has a Wal*Mart and a Michael’s along with some clothing stores that the states doesn’t have. Now on the train ride we pass the building that Chris works at called the Rexal building, which is a coliseum that hosts hockey games as well as other events.

While in Chairview he took me out for dinner at BT’s which is Boston Pizza, we sat in the Bar Lounge area which we bother prefer it’s filled with sports and TV’s. After dinner he showed me around that area and where to find each store. We then stopped at the Cinema to go see a movie but it was jammed packed and neither one of us wanted to stand in line for hours so we took the train back to the Corona Station and walked home. Where I was given my birthday present of season 1 threw 4 of The Simpsons, Which my parents know I’ve been wanting for some time now.

So we spent the rest of the night watching season one, which is very funny to see how far they have come with their animation skills… WOW










And now, a tribute to my dad who always cut the ice cream cake. I really could have used you for this one ^_^

Rock, Paper, Control

The feeling of no control. No control over my mental health, my weight, or my physical health. I like to have things planned and organized because that give me some control in my life. I feel though, like those little things are just pieces of paper with a rock on them on a windy day, soon they to will be out of my control. I once had control over my health and weight, but that was nearly 14 yrs ago. Each year I advance in age I loose more and more control over those two things. No Dr. or specialist seem to know why. Back when I had control, my weight would fluctuate but nothing substantial. I was a ball of anxiety and stress back then as well, so nothing there changed. I was more active in those days, doing all the things all the time. Not sure if that was to hide from my brain weasels or having to go home and be around my mother.
