Today is Chris’s Uncle Ed’s 40th Birthday Party… Surprise party! So we headed out to Richards Pub and had some appetizers and chatted with the family while we waited for the birthday boy. I don’t get to see his family as much as id like only met them twice before tonight, but they are wonderful people so they always include me in everything. When Ed arrived he sure was surprised and happy to see everyone.

We all had a good time and a lot of laughs and when the music started they all dashed to the floor. It shocked me that his grandfather, his aunt and uncles and me and chris all danced. It was kind of weird but good.

How times have changed and how things that once were OK are not and no longer carry the same feeling or intent.  When you think of the word “woman” and do you automatically think bitch or hussy, baggage or bit? According to various traditional dictionaries, synonyms for “woman”, which came as a bit of a shock, and possibly more insightful on why certain generations use words such as these to describe a woman. Today at my place of work a gentleman came up to my counter and said "Hello Beautiful" to me. Rock, Paper, Control

The feeling of no control. No control over my mental health, my weight, or my physical health. I like to have things planned and organized because that give me some control in my life. I feel though, like those little things are just pieces of paper with a rock on them on a windy day, soon they to will be out of my control. I once had control over my health and weight, but that was nearly 14 yrs ago. Each year I advance in age I loose more and more control over those two things. No Dr. or specialist seem to know why. Back when I had control, my weight would fluctuate but nothing substantial. I was a ball of anxiety and stress back then as well, so nothing there changed. I was more active in those days, doing all the things all the time. Not sure if that was to hide from my brain weasels or having to go home and be around my mother. Basically she loves watching the neighbor kids play outside. she enjoys her snuggle time on the love seat and of course we gave her yet another bath this time with her very own dog towels.
