This was an eventful day, Coty came over to help my dad with the windows and to cut their grass, after he was done with all that me and Coty headed to the pumpkin patch and moved two out of the four Giant Pumpkins. This year due to my dad’s injury we couldn’t move them all into the front yard to be carved. Soon we had them in place and Coty had to leave for football practice. Dad, Mom and I prepped the pumpkins then drew on the faces and cut them out. After all the cutting and gutting was done we picked threw it to pull out seeds for next years planting.

Then once we cleaned up and had dinner I had an SCA shin dig to attend. So I put on my garb and waited for Tabz to come get me and away we went to south hall to learn how to make soap. There was a small group of people there and Mrs. Bebee (sp?) taught us how to make soap and all the different things you can add to it. During and in between the teaching I was able to talk to everyone and had a really great time.

How times have changed and how things that once were OK are not and no longer carry the same feeling or intent.  When you think of the word “woman” and do you automatically think bitch or hussy, baggage or bit? According to various traditional dictionaries, synonyms for “woman”, which came as a bit of a shock, and possibly more insightful on why certain generations use words such as these to describe a woman. Today at my place of work a gentleman came up to my counter and said "Hello Beautiful" to me. Now, this customer does come in several times a week and is not a total stranger when I'm at work but still. Rock, Paper, Control

The feeling of no control. No control over my mental health, my weight, or my physical health. I like to have things planned and organized because that give me some control in my life. I feel though, like those little things are just pieces of paper with a rock on them on a windy day, soon they to will be out of my control. I once had control over my health and weight, but that was nearly 14 yrs ago. Each year I advance in age I loose more and more control over those two things. No Dr. or specialist seem to know why. Back when I had control, my weight would fluctuate but nothing substantial. I was a ball of anxiety and stress back then as well, so nothing there changed. I was more active in those days, doing all the things all the time. Not sure if that was to hide from my brain weasels or having to go home and be around my mother. Basically she loves watching the neighbor kids play outside. she enjoys her snuggle time on the love seat and of course we gave her yet another bath this time with her very own dog towels.
