Oct 31 – Nov 1st

Today was unbelievably fulfilling, I planned it out quite perfectly.

Seeing as its Halloween there was trick or treating and it was actually at night, first time in a very long while. So Adam, Patty, Lily and I all went out trick or treating in the plover area by our trivia HQ house. Lily was a beautiful pink princess and her mommy Patty went as a Scary Ghost and I went as Barris Offee a Starwars character. I was told she walked further then she did last year and we all had a great time.

After trick or treating Tabitha and a few other friends picked me up to go to Montello, WI for a SCA Halloween Party. It has been a long time since I’ve seen most of the people that were going to be at this party. But once we arrived we all had a great time and I made new friends and re connected with old ones. A few of us stayed overnight and in the morning Steve and Terri made us all breakfast and every one gathered into their room and shared stories and had a great time.

How times have changed and how things that once were OK are not and no longer carry the same feeling or intent.  When you think of the word “woman” and do you automatically think bitch or hussy, baggage or bit? According to various traditional dictionaries, synonyms for “woman”, which came as a bit of a shock, and possibly more insightful on why certain generations use words such as these to describe a woman. Today at my place of work a gentleman came up to my counter and said "Hello Beautiful" to me. Now, this customer does come in several times a week and is not a total stranger when I'm at work but still. Rock, Paper, Control

The feeling of no control. No control over my mental health, my weight, or my physical health. I like to have things planned and organized because that give me some control in my life. I feel though, like those little things are just pieces of paper with a rock on them on a windy day, soon they to will be out of my control. I once had control over my health and weight, but that was nearly 14 yrs ago. Each year I advance in age I loose more and more control over those two things. No Dr. or specialist seem to know why. Back when I had control, my weight would fluctuate but nothing substantial. I was a ball of anxiety and stress back then as well, so nothing there changed. I was more active in those days, doing all the things all the time. Not sure if that was to hide from my brain weasels or having to go home and be around my mother.
