The War Banner
The Kingdom presents the great war banner to one or two of its kin for each battle that earns war points. This mighty flag has been given to many great warriors throughout this war and tonight it was given to me. During court their Majesties called me to court to receive the banner, with great words and a caring heart the Queen hugged me and handed it to me and said without my drive, focus and pure excitement for the art of archery this war would not have pulled together in unity that day and then she handed me the Banner. It was said that it was her mistake this was not given to me the day before as it rightfully should have been after we left the archery field.
Katcha Radescu
A fiery redheaded maiden with snow white skin and an unusually kind heart was said to have graced our kingdom at this war. There were tales of her good loving nature, tales of how she was gathering food for the needy, tales of her graceful dancing, tales of her bravery upon the archery field.
It’s true this woman did exist. The stories that echoed through the halls; all true. But late one night during Known World Court they spoke a name: Katcha Radescu. Would the members of Shadewes Company please escort Katcha Radescu into court? Silence took over, everyone knew of the household known as Shadewes Company but who was this Katcha Radescu they spoke of?
Her mate knew exactly who they were calling into court and escorted her up with their household following behind. As she kneeled before our King and Queen, the herald spoke again of Katcha Radescu, and from behind her she herd her family whispering loudly “KATTA” and ”VLADESCU”, each time the Herald spoke Katcha Radescu, while reading her scroll, you could here her family whisper out the proper name. Our King had a huge smile upon his face, because he knew how very wrong it was to call her by the other name. You see His Majesty was a Radescu, and he knows the history and tales of Radescu and Vladescu all too well.
