July 1st

HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!

Today I was promised to actually go down to the river and bridge and watch the fireworks this year. We were supposed to meet up with our friends Eric and Kelly but it was their anniversary and got a little to tipsy to come out with us. Sun set here is about 11pm, so we walked to the river which is about a 15 min walk. Enjoyed talking while we took our walk, once we got there it was a mass pile of people. I thought River Font and Rhythm and Boom were crowded but no, this was worse then both of them combined.

I bought a new outfit just for the occasion. First new clothes boughten here in over a year so I think it was ok. I actually bought two Canada shirts and Ill post the photo of the other one on here so you can see it.

Soon they turned off the lights on the bridge and the fireworks began, sadly we choose a spot we thought would be great but in reality there was a big ‘ol Tree in our way but none the less we still had a pretty good view. They were not as high as they were last year so most of the ground work we were unable to see. Here are some photos of the night...

How times have changed and how things that once were OK are not and no longer carry the same feeling or intent.  When you think of the word “woman” and do you automatically think bitch or hussy, baggage or bit? Rock, Paper, Control

The feeling of no control. No control over my mental health, my weight, or my physical health. I like to have things planned and organized because that give me some control in my life. I feel though, like those little things are just pieces of paper with a rock on them on a windy day, soon they to will be out of my control. I once had control over my health and weight, but that was nearly 14 yrs ago. Each year I advance in age I loose more and more control over those two things. No Dr. or specialist seem to know why. Back when I had control, my weight would fluctuate but nothing substantial. I was a ball of anxiety and stress back then as well, so nothing there changed. I was more active in those days, doing all the things all the time. Not sure if that was to hide from my brain weasels or having to go home and be around my mother. Lets Call this Doggie Photo Dump there are really no stories to go with many of these photos. Basically she loves watching the neighbor kids play outside. she enjoys her snuggle time on the love seat and of course we gave her yet another bath this time with her very own dog towels.
