Off to the lake we go to the lake! If you don’t remember “the Lake” means we are heading the island lake to see his mom and the kids then later head out to
On the way there it sprinkled on and off but once everyone got to the house at the same time the rain was done. I ended up in the back yard with his siblings (2 sisters and one brother) we played on the swings and made rings and bracelets out of long grass. Now these kids love me, shocking I know!
Once Chris and his mom joined us in the backyard the girls started learning how to take photos.. yes the 6 and 4 yr old were taking photos and ill be real here, the did pretty good.
Later on we had dinner and the girls insisted I sit between them at the table ^_^ once we cleaned up his moms husband suggested going out on the boat and for a swim. So we all changed into swim wear with warmer cloths ontop and headed out on the boat.
Again the girls both needed to sit on my lap on the ride to the lake as well as on the lake, soon we found shore and everyone but me and his mom got out of the boat and headed into the lake. They had tones of fun and I got a bunch of photos to show it. My favorite is the one of Chris’s Sister Vanessa screaming and running from Chris scaring and splashing her, and the one of Chris splashing his other sister
After the sun started to set we headed back home and I read the girls a veggie tails book before bed and before Chris and I headed to a neighbors house right off the lake for some campfire fun. We stayed up till 4:30AM !!! And the kids waking up in a few hours was not a happy thought ^_^
After his mom and her husband tried hard to keep the kids out of the living room to let us sleep till about noon we got up to the yummy smell of eggs and bacon. Once dressed and ready for a new day we headed out to his uncles where we spent the rest of the day hanging out and talking with them.
